Our Philosophy
In addition to learning the technical aspects of dance, I believe that dance education should be fun and provide students with a high sense of self-worth and belief in themselves. Our goal is to develop the potential of each individual while enhancing their love of dance. We encourage each student to challenge their personal abilities and growth while respecting and supporting their peers inside the classroom and out. Building self-esteem, discipline and a drive for excellence is what will push our students forward with the highest regard for themselves.
A Note About Children
I am extremely conscientious about the role that dance plays in a child's life.
With the amount of "growing up" a child is in contact at such an early age due to television, music and the internet;
they do not need to have that pressure at dance school. We will not have your children dance to inappropriate music nor dress any older than their age indicates. My belief in this was cemented when during Bring a Friend week, a child from another dance
school told me what she was dancing to, and what she was wearing. Before I could get into anything- she, at 10 years old, told me
how inappropriate she thought that was. Children do not need to think about that at such a young age.
We fully promise to let your children, be children.
