Missed Classes
If a student misses a class it can be made up during the month in which they were absent. After this time no make-up class will be offered. No refund will be given for missed classes and it is your responsibility to take advantage of the make-up class offered.
Class Cancellations/Snow Days/Substitute Teachers
Each class is allotted one snow day. Although area schools may close, the studio may be open since many roads are clear and safe by 2:30pm. You will be emailed about school closings or class cancelations. If we do not have you on our email list, you will be called. The safety of all drivers will be in concern while making the decision to cancel or not. The academy reserves the right to use substitute teachers when necessary. Teachers (me!) do get ill or have personal reasons for missing a class. Other qualified teachers or assistants of mine will be asked to substitute and they are very capable to teach any level class. There will be no refunds if there is a substitute!
NEW Please note that it is important to come to all classes towards the end of the recital.
Even when there is a substitute, the class will still practice their routines for the show so it's important to be there!
